What is the Provincial School?

The Provincial School for Congregational Development is a collaborative initiative of the Ecclesiastical Province of BC & Yukon. 

The School is a two-year program. Teams can begin in either year and continue to the next. An overview of each year is provided below. 

The School supports lay and clergy leaders by offering training in congregational and organization development, while facilitating relationship-building amongst leaders throughout the Province.

School's History

First proposed at the Provincial Summit in November 2023, the Province piloted the first year of this two-year program with over 30 participants between September 2024 and May 2025.

The School's curriculum has been adapted for the Canadian context from material used in the Episcopal Church's College for Congregational Development.
